What you get:
Audio Gallery can be used by anyone who can click and move the mouse, look at and understand pictures, and hear the computer talk. Older students can also learn the alphabet or characters of the foreign language.
Audio Gallery features digitized speech by native speakers. Spanish is done by a native Bolivian , Chinese is the Mandarin dialect (Taiwanese accent), French is Parisian-accented.
Audio Gallery includes about thirty colorful, everyday scenes. Each scene includes about thirty key words - numbered objects in the Scene. Click on the object to hear its pronunciation and see the written form in both English and the foreign langua ge.
Scenes include: Weather, Supermarket, Basic Expressions, Numbers, Clothes, Living Room, Restaurant, Around the Town, etc.
For reference, Audio Gallery includes an on-line dictionary; quizzes test your progress. With the Diskette version, a grammar manual is included, and for Chinese and Spanish, a workbook.
Audio Gallery is available in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, German, French, English, Italian, and Portuguese.
The English-Romance version speaks in English and shows translations in Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese or French. The English-Oriental version speaks in English and translates into Japanese or Chinese. The English-Korean version speaks in English and shows translations in English and Korean.
